Biointensive Mini-Farms Around the World

In preparing our Food-Water-Energy Nexus workshop with Ecology Action, we came across some premier examples of GROW BIOINTENSIVE® in practice around the world. As we come across additional examples, we will post them here. We invite visitors to amplify this page by sending us images of other GROW BIOINTENSIVE® minifarms -- your own or those of others -- together with brief description that we can turn into captions. Send your favorite pics, together with identifying owner and geographic location. The examples below should serve as a stimulus for what we have in mind.

Victory Gardens for Peace Mini-Farm  Matt Drewno, one of the FEW Nexus workshop participants, manages Victory Gardens for Peace Mini-Farm, a research, education and demonstration mini-farm in Mendocino, California. One of the projects of the Mini-Farm is Rhythmic Water Seed Bank, advancing the preservation and distribution of heirloom seeds. You can contact him at Rhythmicwater@hotmail.com.
